Make sure you know the model difference: http://www.zojirushi.com/ourprodu...0Chart.pdf .

I have SM-SA60-BA, which is nonstick-coated and also keeps liquid at lower cold/higher hot temperatures. Doesn't look like this version does.

I agree about these being great coffee tumblers... I have a "few" laugh out loud shush

What... I hate hand washing dishes every day sue me laugh out loud

The tops can be taken apart and go in the dishwasher but the bases should be hand-washed with a bottle brush.
It keeps my coffee hot all dang day if I don't get time to drink it. Thumbup And I love the lock feature on it so I don't worry about it accidentally opening and spilling anywhere even if I put it in my purse or lay it on my car seat.

Had this for two years. Absolutely love it. It used to keep things hot for a whole day and night. Now only 6ish hours. I think it's cuz the rubber gaskets degrade over time but it's pretty expensive to just replace those.

This is my favorite tumblr by far though. Will eventually get a new one.

Almost the same price at target. It kind of matches if you have a red card.

hmm I have had mine for more than a few years now.. although as mentioned, I have a handful of them and cycle through so.. each gets used like once a week... none seem to be losing their ability to keep things hot and the gaskets all seem like brand new. I am wondering if it's just because mine are once a week-ish sometimes more. hmm. I would hope they don't start going kaput soon. I love these things.

Although the teal one.. I admit is my least favorite and sits in the far back laugh out loud it's is kind of a weird color laugh out loud

I have a 40oz hydroflask, and got my buddy this for his birthday. We both put beer in them to keep cool on the beach.

This product made the beer stay cold almost double the time of my hydroflask. Was very impressed. They aren't kidding when they say it's well insulated.

16 oz is too small. Wish it was 20 oz. TU though.

Just noticed target has 20 oz for $23.39. Looks to be a better deal if you want a bigger one.

I bought this a few months ago, and it seems to be extremely high quality. I really like it.

After reading Mr_Man's reply below, I found this explanation of SlickSteel vs Non-stick [zojirushi.com]. I didn't know there was a non-stick version; I've been completely happy with this model.

So nonstick vs slicksteel? Is slicksteel a proprietary process we are not privy to knowing the details of?

EDIT: NVM

Quote :
SlickSteel® Finish is an electrolysis polishing method and not a coating. This method makes the surface of the stainless steel smooth, leaving less odor and stains, although not as effective as nonstick.
