Ryobi Ultra-Quiet 2 HP Garage Door Opener - $198 plus 1 FREE accessory - Home Depot B&M

$198.00

I was at Home Depot last night and saw this display on one of the end caps in the back, behind the lumber department. It's the Ryobi ultra-quiet 2 hp belt drive garage door opener SKU 1002-278-817) on sale for $198 and says it comes with a free accessory of your choice worth up to $99. So, not only is it typically $248 but you're also getting a free accessory worth up to $99. This deal saves you $149.

The free accessories they had shown were the:
- High power inflator
- Laser park assist
- Security camera
- Retractable cord reel
- Bluetooth speaker
- Fan

It has great reviews on Home Depot but some of the Amazon reviews raise concerns about quality so buyer beware.

Awesome. I took a pic of the display clearly showing the price is $198 plus free accessory. I'll go back in a few days and see if it dropped at all. I'm due for a new garage door opener as mine is original with the house and makes all sorts of awful noises when in use.lol

I just tried looking it up on Brickseek but for some reason it won't show prices, just inventory.

Typical of Special Buy items @ HD. Gotta go in-store for the score.

Finally got the pics to load after trying multiple browsers and mobile device. Had to go into classic mode to get it to work.

I'm so tempted to pick 2 up for my garage doors but the negative Amazon reviews have me hesitant.

I've got one... Love it. Android app is good but I have to swipe it to close it sometimes to get it to connect.

Extention cord is pretty cool. Parking lights are cool but expensive compared to some generic version. Fan is meh at best.

actually after reading the same I agree. while it doesn't play well with smart things, my Chamberlain MYQ app at least has all three openers on one screen. no way I'm logging in and out to see different doors.

Where is that? Do you see the price online?

Is that the only downside? I thought they looked really good!

Can anyone comment on the security camera attachment? Or which accessories do you think are the most useful? Thanks!

Ha, I was wondering the same thing. I have a mental image of my garage door flying up and right through the wall to the house.LMAOLMAOLMAO

Opener doesn't have much to do when pulling up the door. These HPs on openers are primarily marketing terms. Most of the work done to lift the doors up and down is done by your torsion springs. If properly wound, all you need is 2 fingers to lift up the door.
