Clearance at some walmarts. It's not top of the line by any means, but it will do all the HD formats and 4k HDMI2 passthrough. I bought one for my little game room that doesn't need much power.

For 99 bones, it's a decent deal.

The only reason you would need OSD is if your stuff is in a rack where you can't see the display. Quite frankly, if your stuff is in a rack, you don't need to be buying 99 dollar receivers. Amazon reviewers are idiots.

Rated 145W @8 Ohm. Read first few negative reviews on AMZ [amazon.com]. Not fully 4K compatible. PITA for future proofing even though I don't use 4K yet. Even with the pass through the display reverts to 480p whenever the OSD comes on - such as for any vol adjustment (per most helpful Neg reviewer).

Good to know. Also can one safely use 8 Ohm speakers and expect half the watt rating? My Onkyo allows either way.

As much as I appreciate listings like this, it's always a disappointment because there's typically only a handful of open box, returns, display models, service returns that are as abundant as hen's teeth. Very sporadic where a store is trying to eliminate dead inventory. Usually find these right before an inventory as the manager wants his numbers to look good where his percentage of inactive aged inventory SKUs are reflective of his ability to move product. As such, hope someone is lucky enough to score one of these! nod

I have two near me according to Brickseek. However, note the following from Crutchfield (where it has good reviews):

"This receiver is not HDCP 2.2-compliant and will not support copy-protected 4K video content."
