Amazon is having a sale on the STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket for $36.76. Free Prime Shipping eligible. This is the lowest this paddle has ever been by $10+. High quality paddle, great reviews.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I own this bat. It is weighted nicely, but on the lighter side, which I like. The stock rubber is decent but could be better. I actually like the Premium rubber from Stiga a little more than what this comes with. I've been using it almost every day for the past 2 months and really enjoy it.

Seriously guys this is not a deal - Stiga does not make good rackets in this price range. For good value go to

http://colestt.com/index.php
or
https://www.zeropong.com/show-all...-c-40_104/

These guys provide exceptional value TT gear for money for players of all skill levels. When in doubt on what model to buy, call/mail them for advice.

There are other good vendors out there. These are the two I have tried and can recommend.

Have also used this racket in the past and would definitely recommend it for the average player. This is a pretty slick price too.

The rubbers on this requireare firm and require you to play with a bit more speed to apply significant spin, but that also means it's really accurate in defense. I don't buy expensive bats and this is my favorite.

The Stiga Evolution racket is also a slick deal for $31.89 [amazon.com]. I paid $64.11 for it on 1/6/15.
Which is better for a beginner?

The Stiga Evolution is on sale too for $31.89. Looks like that's the lowest Amazon has sold it for.

I'd probably go with the Evolution then. Pro Carbon looks like it's for players who hit with a lot of spin.

Pro Carbon is more of a speed bat. The Evolution is middle of the road and feels lighter in the hand. For a beginner you won't care.
