This atom is slow as hell. Trust me. I've tested several tablets and the cherry trail just outright sucks. It's about half the speed of an Apple A9 (in the latest iPad) if that is telling at all. Do yourself a favor and get an M3

In my experience no. The cherry trail atom still isn't good enough especially at 2gb ram. The last gen Celeron is adequate for the most basic computing (at least with chromeOS). Maybe the next gen of atoms will be good enough.

if you have a kid school (I paid for 2 netbooks in past couple years almost x4 OP's price for acer w/same specs + ridiculous tech fees Frown !) it may be a good way to save some $$ Rock !

Nice beginner laptop! Will keep the kids off yours this summer and into the school year! Always a solid investment in my book! 😂

I thought I read that atom processors have been discontinued for a while now? their 320 is supposed to be the last one that uses one still.

The processor ranks below high end smartphones from the last couple years (back to Snapdragon 805): https://www.notebookcheck.net/Mob...436.0.html

I can't recommend 2GB of RAM in this day and age, especially when similar Bay Trail systems to this have been under $100 for years.

I have a similar 2 in 1 with only 2GB RAM. It runs perfectly fine as long as you keep your Chrome tabs at 4 or less. Once you go over that, it starts bogging.

The great thing about this 2-1 is the battery life. Came in 5th on this list

http://www.laptopmag.com/articles...-notebooks

12 and 24 minutes with continuous wifi and screen at 40%.

Anyone have real life experience with this and can confirm?
