The 450W EVGA is tempting for $19.99 with free shipping and no rebate involved, but I can't find anything on the web in terms of reviews, other than one consumer review at Newegg.

It's rather new, so no reviews, but I have got a few BT versions last time they were on sale for $20 and I love them. I have no idea why EVGA has B, B1, BT, BV series of the same 450W and with virtually same specs. But I love them for $20

This model appears to almost brand new... it looks like it's the 450W B1 but they replaced the ketchup and mustard sleeved cables with all black cables giving it much better aesthetics... really good deal for $20, probably on sale to get the word out.

This is my first ever posted slick deal, so please forgive me if I'm missing info. I do believe this is quite a slick deal though!

This is the Thermaltake Toughpower TPD-0750M - SLI / CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Gold Certification and Semi Modular Cables Black Active PFC Power Supply Intel Haswell Ready (PS-TPD-0750MPCGUS-1)

80+ gold rated 750 watt power supply and semi-modular for $50 is an excellent deal, especially for those bit miners out there that push their systems hard.$79.99 before $30 rebate and free shipping!

The 2 EVGA's are likely made by HEC Group, the Thermaltake and Corsair are both made by CWT (Channel Well Technology) - no Seasonics here, if that's what you're looking for.

Also punched fan cutouts is a cost saving measure; can lead to more noise compared to old fan grill versions. Though for $20 you can't complain Big Grin

Seems since this is a brand new psu that EVGA is running this really nice sale to boost reviews about it. People who buy products for really cheap are inclined to give a 5 star review. Just a guess, though. Either way, everyone wins

Thanks for that useful tidbit of info. I was looking at the pics and wondering about the airflow compared to the other versions but could not put my finger on it. That fan opening also looks much more restricted.
