The 48-oz water reservoir is nice.. don't have to constantly add water to it. Smilie

You should replace the water in it every morning.. I always put fresh cold water in every morning, sometimes more often depending on the last time water was added.

Could be your supposed to but I don't and my Keurig is at least four years old without having any issues. I guess you're supposed to for health reasons? I end up having to refill it every 3 days or so.

I'm Keurig-illiterate, can anybody give an opinion on how this model compared to the one Best Buy (K15) had for $40 recently?

Buying for my parents. Thanks!

does this model have a drm where it will only take keurig brand or ones with their stamp on the cup? that security feature is really annoying

Surprised at how expensive these still are...the K55 was $70 shipped at QVC a few months back and came with 30 kcups, a free water filter, etc. Looks like a good deal though based on current prices at other stores.
