how can they charge $500 for a car seat that does not even have a load leg ? I don't find anything that really worth it....

I understand load leg provides additional safety.
However 4moms car seats claims to exceed safety tests (crash tested at 2x required force).

Another thing to keep in mind 4mom car seats comes with 2 year warranty. Mostly all others comes with 1 year warranty.

I trust what I can see and feel in terms of having the load leg. The seat obviously jump up during a crash without such a thing. Moreover, no one use infant car seat for 2 years. The extra year of warranty is useless since the baby need to switch into a convertible car seat after about a year.

Seems like a personal preference.
