This satisfies practically all of the needed check boxes for a good phone.

Good CPU, enough ram, decent storage space, quickcharge, passable cameras, good screen (if you like em big) and current Android OS. If I didn't have the 64GB/4GB Blu Life one X2 I'd buy this.

If the battery was removable, I would definitely upgrade from my Zmax 2. ZTE is killing it.

yeah, ZTE seems to be doing a hell of a job. Wish I could get it for $100. My wife has two ZTE Zmax 2 phones that she loves. I'll probably get these as replacements as she kills off her Zmax 2's. Her only complaint is the camera and this seems a worthy upgrade.

Can these be used with other GSM carriers right away or have to be unlocked first?

Hope they improved/fixed this model vs the MetroPCS ZMAX Pro that most dealers stopped selling because of too many returns because of touchscreen, speaker, and phantom cycling issues. In looking at the specs on the Blade, it appears to be a warmed over ZMAX Pro.

Only thing I can point out is Snapdragon 435 vs 615 compared to the Tmobile Zmax Pro. I'm not too sure about processor difference. But to some its a really big deal. On the reverse if it does quick charge and streams HD who cares right. People just want a lag free experience.

Our son uses the Zmax Pro on cricket and its been fantastic. He went from LG G2 to that.

Not positive, but a friend had LG Xpower on Cricket and they unlocked after 6 months for her.
Definitely compatible though. You probably know Cricket is wholly owned by ATT

Must be unlocked. Probably 6 months on Cricket required. Not verified though

Myself and half dozen friends/ family bought the ZMP's on metroPCS. None of us have had these problems. I still use mine daily. Love this thing. Especially the display quality and plus size

This plus the camera is very solid. I bet that person cannnot name any dealer that pulled the zmax pro. Some people like to make stuff up.

Go ahead name all these dealers, I'll call them and see if they have stock.

Zmax Pro is a good phablet.
