Howdy, I signed up for a new Sam's membership yesterday using this deal : https://slickdeals.net/f/10105624-1-year-sam-s-club-membership-20-egift-card-dinner-meal-45-new-members-only

I have been planning to pick up a the new 2017 iPad.
It is now on an "Instant Savings" discount.

32GB for $298 - $31 off Apple's list price.
128GB for $358 - $71 off Apple's list price.

https://www.samsclub.com/sams/ipa...1222943.ip

I ordered the 128GB for me. It allowed online order only, no club pick up in my area.

I had not yet maxed out my Discover card $1500 at warehouse clubs, so I went through discover.com and used their "Discover Deals" link. I hope to get 5% back from the portal + 5% back for the warehouse club deal.

Best of luck shopping.

I've never had an iPad battery go bad... If it goes bad, it'll probably be after Applecare is over

If anyone has the old ipad air or air 2, there is no need to upgrade yet as the current ipad design is a downgrade. It's bulkier and heavier. I see prices going down closer to 250 before or by black Friday. Although the 2017 has a slightly faster processor.

It has fingerprint unlock. I don't know what this poster is talking about, there's no significant gap. I came from a first gen IPad mini, maybe if I came from an Air 2 I might be disappointed (but I'd also be stupid because every review website said don't upgrade if you have an Air 2). It's a Retina display, has the best specs you can get outside of a pro, and is cheaper than any equivalent Samsung product. I don't understand the hate on this thread.

Oh yeah that 1.4 mm thickness difference is SO bad compared to the air 2. Those extra 30-ish grams are too much for my weak arms.

Where did you see this? I thought the BB college deal just gave you apple care for free.

Yes, you can cancel the Apple Care for a full refund but I guess I am in rare company that likes Apple Care. It was a good deal though I was in the market for a Pro and that wasn't included in the BB deal. I bought it at Staples, price matched to Target, and used 15% CB site. And yes, I bought Apple Care Smilie

I planned to cancel it, but after realizing that applecare also covers battery replacements kept it. That itself will likely make it worth it.

I've never had an iPad battery go bad... If it goes bad, it'll probably be after Applecare is over

I think Discover has 5% CB for Wholesale clubs right now. If you plan on buying using a CC, that will net you approximately $16 in cb on the 32 GB version. Standard Discover card cb limitations apply.

I haven't had an iPad battery go but I have had a laptop one swell just recently. Luckily I was within the AppleCare though just barely (6 months left). Although my cc would have covered me a year longer. I carry AppleCare+ for my iPads and iPhones, which also covers accidental breakage.
