This is a nice Bluetooth speaker, very compact, good sound for the size, nice for smaller rooms. Great price, imo.

Here is a YT video review of the speaker by Clavinetjunkie, (if SD lets me post the link).

This guy has a lot of good Bluetooth speaker reviews and comparisons, he uses a high quality mic. Listen with headphones.

Thank you very much for posting this deal, OP! I've wanted to get one of these Anker SoundCore Mini bluetooth speakers for a while and I was really pissed off at myself for not grabbing several of them when they were on sale on Newegg for $20 and included a $5 gift card. I know it has great reviews, but I'm curious, has anyone on here actually owned that Anker SoundCore Mini speaker? If so, what are your thoughts on the sound and loudness? Also, what about the battery life and Bluetooth range? If someone who has actually owned this speaker would offer some feedback on it, it would really be appreciated.

Had my eyes on the regular Anker Soundcore but now I'm thinking the Soundcore Sport XL may be nice. Not intending it for heavy outdoor use but not having to worry about it while at the pool and such would be nice.

Can anyone give some insight on the differences of sound quality between the two?

The Sport XL is 16 watts. Is that loud enough for an outdoor party/bbq, or is it just enough for low-key entertaining?

Had a JBL Flip before, bought soundcore. was shocked with the low quality output and constant buzz noise. These speakers may last long but are a compromise in sound quality.

more watts does not mean better sound with these small/smallish Bluetooth speakers.. it comes down to the enclosure design and tuning of the sap in them for the enclosure.. I never buy a portable speaker without a review on clavinetjunkie on YouTube as mentioned above..

I own the SoundCore Mini, and I would recommend it. It is a very small speaker, so don't expect too much, but the sound is balanced and clear. It sounds great up close or in a smaller room. I also own 2 Sony XB3, Onyx Studio, and had a few others I have returned. For the size and price, it fills a niche. It is also nice that in a pinch you can listen to the radio with it. Range is about 30-40 ft, not amazing, but better than the Taotronics Pulse X which plays louder, but doesnt seem to have a full range speaker. The Pulse X also has a short range, 30ft flat, thats it. The XB3 has a great range, I could go across the lawn, down the driveway and still listen.
tick, tock, one day deal...

Thank you for the reply and the feedback. I ended up grabbing 2 of them, a black one and a silver one. I don't listen to much music on my portable Bluetooth speakers, I mostly listen to sports/talk radio, so I'm glad that this one is relatively small, but has good sound and excellent battery life. So, for $20, I'm thinking it's probably a good value. And I am glad that the OP posted this deal on here for others, like myself, to see!

I bought one for the dual function FM and Bluetooth, specifically to listen to Detroit Tigers games without having to subscribe to MLB At Home or whatever. It gets the job done really well and has a pretty decent battery too.. 2-3 games a week, couple hours of music, charge once a week. I love the little thing.
