Brickseek and Walmart app both showed availability with $13 but it rang full price of $49 at the store. Wasted half an hour tonight trying to hunt this deal.

some stores have this barcode instead:
062118687305
its not in brickseek here. it rings up for more. you just need to challenge them on 'whats the diff?' pretty sure theres no diff.
and fyi: some stores that show the 062118687306 from the OP in stock per brickseek actually have none of those and instead have 062118687305's in the exact quantity and sometimes even with the 062118687306's yellow clearance tag. so my advice would be to know what brickseek says before you go in and simply tell them 'i want the rca tablet... it says you have seven in stock' then when they crack open the case and theres seven 062118687305's just say 'thats fine i will take that one for $13'

There are two different versions of this tablet. Most of the $13 are long gone. The newer ones are nearly identical.

It looks like they have both versions and the rep showed me the newer which rang $49. Thanks for the tip to help m identify them.
I know they are very slow but I am going overseas and thinking to take them as gifts.

edit: Checked two stores, one with a claimed inventory of 12, one with 6. Neither had any lol got a useless manager and everything. "Sometimes the count isn't accurate." On an item that's locked up at all times? Ah, well. Probably the same situation as the CoD Quadcopters: tell me there are none left anywhere, then I watch the stock slowly diminish over a few days, as their friends buy them. It took one random worker who didn't have his head up his arse, to figure out what was going on. Still a TU to the OP; thanks for trying!

Went to two Walmart's, neither have it in stock despite Brickseek showing a few. Neither Walmart even recognized the SKU. I'm a lurker and first time used Brickseek and found it to be utterly worthless and a time waster, if it is not reasonably accurate what's the point.

If it helps anyone, the UPC for the $13 tablet is the RCA Voyager II which they don't have anymore (and never sold it for $13 from what I was told at least here in Los Angeles area). The newest one is Voyager III which has an IPS display and selling in store now for $40 or $37 I don't remember exactly but if it's ringing up for $50 you are being ripped off. I am surprised Walmart regional or state pricing isn't consistent but again I'm new to this.

$13 bucks would have been fine but for $40 I'd rather keep the money and use it on a Fire tablet or literally anything else.

I suspect the problem is with Wal-Mart's inventory. I've seen it work, but you can't depend on it.

Thanks for the detail on the tablet. I saw the Voyager III in the store and was hoping to snag one of them for $13 - not the greatest tablet, but a definite improvement over my older Voyager tablet. $13 is too good to pass, $25 would be tempting, but $50 is way too much. I just purchased a refurbed Fire HD for $25 that is much better than the RCA tablets - a much better deal!

FWIW, these RCA tablets do not have any support. I've never seen any updates come down for them.

These tablets are ok. I have had 2 before. One stopped responding after a year and a half. Got another one which still works after 4 months. Has been used and abused by a 3 year old.

i like these because it gives you almost pure android. preloaded apps can be easily uninstalled. The performance is okay and at par with Original Nexus 7 1st gen. Gives full access to google play apps. That is my gripe with fire tablets.

Having said that, I checked the deal and tried 2 walmarts which should have had those according to brickseek but they had none. The rep said they went out of this specific version about 3 months ago and the lowest they went for was $25.
