@Lowe's B&M Keen Smart Vent (ZigBee) 10-in x 4-in and 12-in x 4-in for as low as $14.25 depending on where you live.

Lowes 12-in x 4-in:

Lowes 10-in x 4-in:

These will work with SmartThings, Iris, Nest, Ecobee, Wink (not certified), and VeraPlus (not certified). The Keen Smart Vent uses Thread, so it might also work with Google Home and Alexa.

I personally tried these with a VeraPlus and they work very well (although the anemometer feature is missing with VeraPlus).

Again, YMMV (worked out very well for me).

Edit:

Brickseek is showing $56 at a store I purchased the 12-in x 4-in for $14.25... probably would not use brickseek to determine stock or pricing for this item.

Not in stock anywhere around me. I've wanted these for so long, but can't justify full price.

How to pair with VeraPlus:

Select 'Add Device'
Select 'Generic ZigBee' OR another known ZigBee device (I use GE LED Dimmable bulb)
Select Your Device, click next, click next' to begin the pairing process
Pair Your Device (pull the battery strip to power the vent or unplug/plug the battery pack)
You will get an error about it detecting the wrong device type, that is okay.
Give it a name and assign it to a room.

At this point the VeraPlus will restart its Luua and you should see the device in the room you placed it in, however it has been incorrectly configured as a door sensor or a smoke detector (if you paired it as a GE LED bulb).

Goto the device's settings-advanced tab and look for the following: device_file and device_json, change their values to:

device_file = D_WindowCovering1.xml
device_json = D_WindowCovering1.json

Back from this screen and save changes. You may or may not have to reload luup engine. You will have full control of your vent using the 'Open', 'Close' buttons as well as the percentage slider.
(rep to Nutron and others that have worked through VeraPlus ZigBee issues)

To get the temperature sensor of the vent working:
App/Develop App/Create device
Enter "D_TemperatureSensor1.xml" in the field "Upnp device filename"
Enter whatever you want in the field "Description" -> it will be the virtual sensor name...
Choose a room if applicable
Click 'Create Device'
Reload luup
Open the newly created device, go to 'advanced' tab.
Enter "urn:upnp-org:serviceId:TemperatureSensor1" in the field 'New service'
Enter "CurrentTemperature" in the field 'New Variable'
Enter "0" in the field 'new value', click 'Add'
Reload luup

Create a scene to refresh the temperature for the newly created device and use the following luup code:

Quote :
local function update (src,tgt)
local temp = luup.variable_get("urn:upnp-org:serviceId:TemperatureSensor1","CurrentTemperature", src)
luup.variable_set("urn:upnp-org:serviceId:TemperatureSensor1", "CurrentTemperature", temp, tgt)
end

update (insert vent device ID here, insert temperature device ID here)
return true
you can repeat the "update(x,y)" as many times as you have vents with temperatures to update.
(rep to rafale77 for working through this one).

I was able to get two using a $15 off of $50. Great deal. Also picked up a Ecobee3 and sensors from Walmart. Good weekend project to get everything installed.

i think all the TD came from SDers looking to resell... I met one in Lowe's as I was picking up an order - some of you out there are pretty scummy (trying to force lowes to sell you the item I already paid for online)... no joke, they sold 3 of the 5 out from under me.
