as long as you're viewing 4K content. It does not enhance 1080P. It does not have HDR.

Bought this tv on black Friday (11/25/16). The picture showed great until about two days ago and a huge yellow line appeared. Now the whole screen is about to go out. Take my advice and spend a little extra.

Fwiw, Proscan used to be a higher-end CRT manufacturer but today is just a licensed name. However, I have a 2009 LCD from them that's still going strong, so I don't doubt the longevity on them.

Gonna get this instead of OLED, lol. /s

Remember when people used to say you were rich if you had a big screen? Now they're practically selling them in checkout lanes for nothing.

I bought this for $280 at HH Greg with a coupon. Very happy with it but as to be expected, terrible speakers.

Does not compare to my buddy's $1800 4K tv. But destroys 55" 1080P tv's when I have 4K content. I'm sure others will disagree but I'm very happy with the purchase.

Then go ahead and spend over double the price of this TV for a 55inch to get true HDR.... deal breaker for you maybe, but this price is the absolute cheapest you will get for a 4k TV at 55inches. Yea its an offbrand TV also...

Good thing is you can spend like $40 and get some cheap, fake, surround sound setup and it will be much better than the TV speakers. look for some logitech for cheap speakers to not spend alot
