Great deal, TU. Just got the K575 at BBB for full price less a 20% coupon. Think I'm going to return that and get this. From my research, it only looks like a difference between accessories between the K575 and K525.

2.0 version means you can't use cheap k cups. this machine will only "read and dispense" official K cups that are more expensive. there is way to get around this, but it's a pain.

Actually this has changed. The newer 2.0 keurigs manufactured this year with model numbers ending in 25 and 75 will accepted all k cups. They even changed the little insert that comes when new in the cup chamber and no longer says will only take 2.0 cups. We just bought the 575 from Kohl's and had to return the first one as they gave us an old model from OCT of last year that still had it in there.

So if we do store pickup is there a way to tell from the outside iof the box if it is the newer model without opening it up?

Not that I could tell showing that particular difference. There is a small price tag sticker on every box that shows packed on date. The first one we got the box was beat up and showed packed 10/2016. When I went back all were 4/2017. I will say we have not yet tested an unbranded cup as we just bought it yesterday but have been researching this for about 2 months and with seeing both and the discs and disclaimer in it being exactly what we heard I don't expect it to be wrong.

Why not use 2.0 version of my k-cup? It let you use whatever grind coffee you want. 😉

Read through the 457 reviews at Costco's website.
Only ★★★ 3.4 out of 5 stars.

Costco's easy return policy is great.
