Toro Gas Power Head for trimmers and other attachments. I think this is the link to it.

For Reference:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Toro-2...202524827?
Mobile: http://m.homedepot.com/p/Toro-2-C...htype=text

Link shows 129 even at my local store but they have a bunch for $65 on the clearance shelf. Probably B&M only and YMMV.

YMMV: "Your-Mileage-May-Vary" (product hunting)

B&M: "Brick & Mortar" (not online)

B&M means brick and mortar, or a physical store rather than online. YMMV means your mileage may vary, meaning you may or may not be able to replicate the deal.

In this case, I could not see the lower price online and only saw it at the one store I visited so I don't know if it is available anywhere else. My store had quite a few though.

My store had it on clearance back in March for $89, like 8 or 10 of them. Bought one with 10% off. Few weeks later they discounted to $65, and still like 4-5 on the shelf. Likely had receipt in my wallet and talked manager to honor 10% on pricematch. Good deal if you find one.

Picked one up today after I saw this post... thanks...

Two things that sold it for me..."commercial grade" had more solid switches, body and throttle lever than the other straight shaft units.

Works with all RYOBI Expand-It attachments
Commercial-grade engine for long life and optimal performance

I'll keep my eyes open now for some RYOBI Expand-It attachments

I'm looking tomorrow.
I've used this for the past few years.
start's easy
I had to replace the pull start $25
This year I replaced the rubber plug in the fuel tank that the carb hoses go through $7

I've used the ryobi and craftsman attachments. Maybe cub also (yellow)

I am wishing I got in on that Frown

My Husq trimmer just died yesterday, or I am pretty sure. Not sure I want to buy another gas trimmer but Ego are buttheads with their proprietary connection. Don't feel like buying new attachments.

I actually had this toro head a year ago and flipped it with a few attachments. It just didn't have the power weight ratio I was looking for. The eGo on the other hand is incredibly powerful for being compact and light. I got a good chuckle when I saw Spicey on SNL skit blow up the reporters dress with eGo blower.

Last week I picked up the Ryobi 4 stroke trimmer for $75, blower attachment for $24, and string trimmer attachment for $18. I saw these too but the store I went to was out of all the attachments for Toro. I've used it a few times and I couldn't be happier.

LOL. The whole reason i picked it up was because my Husqy wouldn't start yesterday. I wasn't looking but picked it up because it was probably cheaper than a repair. I believe the Husqy problem is probably minor but I was frustrated. And I use it will 5 attachments.
