Perhaps the worst customer service on the planet. Worse than iBuyPower and all the other custom PC makers.

You can upgrade to the Intel NVMe SSD for 92 bucks, then use Coupon Code "BURGER" to bring it back down to $1289. Or just upgrade anything you want to bring the price to 1300 to use that coupon code.

I have heard this lot of times. But my experience with them was different and lot of people who have purchased from the deals posted here, reported differently. But one thing is clear, their communication to the Customers in case of delays, parts out of stock etc, are really poor. But I can say that the quality of their products are top notch.

Another thing, I have updated the configuration with now 500GB SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM HDD to bring the price over $1300 and used the coupon code BURGER as you have suggested. Now the price is actually $1.50 less but comes with 1TB HDD as extra, over the previous build.

i'm usually a lurker, but i have to agree.
first shipment, screen arrived broken. took >3 weeks to get the laptop back
had to return it because graphic card broke. out 2 weeks now and still nothing
the build quality is great, just pray to all your dieties that your product will not break.

Gonna give this build a go, been waiting for these exact specs at this price for a few months. Hoping I don't run into the quality control issues that others have brought up. Thanks OP

How is the communication from them when you are inquiring about the status of the replacement? I am planning to get one from them as my old 965M Laptop is not up to the mark now, gonna donate it to my brother.

I actually took the 240GB WD Green SSD option to replace the 1TB HDD...for $0 extra!

so 740GB total SSD space, good with me!

turn around time is variable. first inquiry into RMA i received a response the same night
2nd inquiry i had a response in 2 business days.
not sure what is up with their customer service/repair sector of the business. just treat your purchase like a pack of rubbers, pray it works the first time or else it's just a pain in the ass for a long time (all puns included)
