I'd like to get in on this, my old Ridgid is going on ~15 years and is only single bevel.

How does it compares with similar priced (sale price for both) dewalt (or more reputed brand).

I'm going to check my local store on my lunch break. If they have one I'm definitely getting it. Can you tell me what store # or zip code you found this in. Maybe my store will price match it if it's not marked down?

Where is the 12" DeWalt slider for $280?

I got the deal a few days ago for the DeWalt dws780. Used the image someone posted of the Sears price at 535 minus the 10% Home Depot price match guarantee plus the free $200 stand for a total of just $480 plus tax. Better saw, better brand and worth the extra price IMO.

Lowe's has the Dewalt version of this for $349 as well.

That one doesn't appear to slide as the one the OP posted does.

Sorry, but that one from Lowe's is not a slider.

I went over lunch break and my local HD has this saw for $349 marked down from $399. I also noticed that this thing is bugger than my car...

I'll be sure to look at those too. When I was looking at them last weekend I definitely liked the feel of the Dewalt adjustments better than anything else at Lowes but I haven't compared to a Ridgid. I do like the lifetime service from Ridgid tho.

Hmm, I'd be in at $280 but going to all the HDs is such a pain.
