FYI it is confirmed that the Motion Sensor also works with the Lowes Iris Hub.

Pro Tip: To anyone who is nervous about the pairing procedure simply complete steps 1-7 in the instructions and they will pair out of the box when they arrive. You will find the ability to copy paste is the highest level of difficulty you will encounter.

Regarding batteries in the Window Door sensors: They are 2 year old batteries. They are not all going to be perfect. I've had my sensors running strong for 3 months now with very little drain although I do have one that is draining it was down to 57% last I checked. Also the battery drain percentages seem to change up and down depending on weather and temperature.

Picked these up last time there was a special on Amazon. They work, but the battery in the door/window sensor died in the first week. Also, for the E series (which this is) you'll need to install a new device type to get it to work with SmartThings, it with not work natively (will only identify as a "thing" with no functionality).

How did the replacement batteries fare ? Week of battery will be horrendous and unacceptable

Don't worry to date over 6Kpcs of these sensors have sold this is the 1st time somone has said they had a battery die let alone last a week. There are a few other weird stories out there. That is par for the course when so many have sold.

Got mine also paired with smartthings using the instructions on the bottom of the web page. Took a little bit of trial and error but has been working fine for the last couple weeks. In for a couple more. Thanks op

I also got some from the last deal. All paired fine and all batteries are also fine. Didn't come with 100% battery, but I also haven't had to replace any yet either. Good find, OP!

The Bosch motion sensor has a three minute reset. That is, it will detect motion, motion stopped, and resets itself (there will be no motion detection within this three minutes). I've checked the source code and author confirms no programmable options. Other than this and bulky looks, it's a solid Bosch product.

I haven't set up my motion detectors from previous deal but the door/window sensors have been working great (Have 4 set up, a few more waiting to be installed.)

These are really great door/window sensors if you have SmartThings. They're small and thin, better range than the Iris sensors in my (rudimentary) testing, and adding the device type is easy enough and you just have to do it once no matter how many sensors you have. They also have a little bit more wiggle room with the magnet placement than the Iris sensors -- the Iris had to have the magnet pretty much touching the sensor or it would register as open, these have a few inches before it trips which helped with a more tricky situation I had with a sliding glass door.

The motion sensors are big, but they use (and come with) four AA batteries and are supposed to last for something like 6 years. The included batteries are showing as 100% in SmartThings for the two I bought. The motion sensors also have temperature (which is nice because I have one outside and one in my garage, so I can see the temp in both places).

Dang. I was holding out for this but bit on three a few days ago. I knew I should have waited. :-)

Also, one of mine (I have five now - door sensors) keeps saying unavailable on Smartthings. It is close to another one so I know distance isn't an issue. Also, two came with 100% battery, which I was surprised about, but the others were around 80%. They do seem to drop battery fairly quickly.

All in all, the door/window sensor are very compact and work well. I only have one that is giving me issues.

6 year battery life on the motion sensor? Seriously?

For door sensors, I highly recommend the aeon labs recessed sensors. They are super easy to install and invisible. I have them on all my external doors. The only drawback is that the app doesn't report in battery life.
