Right because I don't care who makes the monitor or the reviews on it. 1K for only a 32" is freakin nuts! To think the prices places try to get for this on a regular day. $1,200-$1,700. No monitor is that good. lol I've been in the market for a 32" but I should have known better then to click this post with it being a Dell and 4K.

And your opinion matters because...?!?!

The point of Slickdeals hot deals forums is to put up deals of products. As the OP said, this is the cheapest this monitor has been, at least recently. Your opinion on whether it is worth it is as useless as my post is saying your opinion is useless. Big Grin

This is a monitor that can display aRGB (wide gamut) and has extremely good color accuracy, that alone is enough to double it's price. Aside from that, it's one of the only 4K wide gamut monitors out there and I believe at this price it is the cheapest as well. If you have no need for wide gamut color work or extreme color accuracy then you are simply not the target market and you should for sure not ever think to spend this much money for features you don't/won't need. I only say this to help you understand why it isn't nuts, it's just not made for you. If you see a dell monitor with "premier color" that means it's wide gamut and it's going to be overpriced in your eyes.

I want this so bad. But try as I might, I can't come up with a way to rationalize it. Regardless, it looks like a good deal. I didn't realize how cheap 4k monitors were getting.

I have been trying to research UHD 32" for a while now and on paper the 32UD99 [amazon.com]beats this. Also $1000 selling price. Could anyone chime in on Dell's advantages?

3 year transferrable warranty (and extendable through your account), Advanced replacement (usually), Awesome CS, exceptional quality, built like tanks. Not sure if all their monitor stands are designed the same as the one I had but talk about a breeze to setup. All monitors I've had required screws and usually removing plastic covers etc. The Dell was just awesome to setup. A bit more difficult to remove the stand though by yourself. It kept trying to click back together while trying to pivot it to unhook the screen from the stand. LOL Normally you don't need to do this though unless your moving/selling it.

Had a U3415W that I just sold yesterday in less then 24hrs for $550. I have a 43" that should be delivered tomorrow. Just wanted more real estate and to bump up to 4k 4:4:4 chroma.

I have been looking for this monitor at a good price. I lowest I seen is 1.1K on ebay from resellers.

Is this the lowest as its been?
