The best part of this is the remote. I will absolutely buy the remote if it's universal specifically for the power and volume. The rest should work fine with any Fire TV/stick.

The best part about a $450 43" TV is the remote? May as well pick up the KS7500. The best part about that TV is the display...

This panel isn't anything magically. The only aspect of this that is any different than you can already get is the remote. The TV is decent but not awesome based on specs and the Fire OS will pretty much be what you can already have with a FireTV or stick. the integration is nice though. So for me the TV isn't a must buy even though it's decent, the remote is awesome and I would probably use it more than my expensive Harmony remotes. Obviously, this is just my opinion and use case which won't apply to everyone.

Does anyone know the more specific specs for these? Like 8 bit vs 10 bit, local dimming, etc etc? Good for gaming or nah?

Element is a crap TV maker and these look like bottom of the barrel displays with Amazon fire os and Alexa. I would wait for reviews.

new TCL sets will probably be better

That's some bad luck, mine lasted 6 years. Picture quality was decent but it was a third of the price to similar sized TVs.

How could you have an Element TV that lasted 6 years when they went into business in 2012?

No, your memory is not off. my first LCD flat screen was an Element 37" I bought from Circuit City for ~$700.00. this was approx 2008.

Good to know. Perhaps it was Element after all. Who knows. Who cares.

Anyway is this even a sale price or is it just the regular price?
