Purchased this last night and noticed a printout taped to the skid when I got home stating that these shouldn't be put out on the floor until 5/17 for a 'memorial day sale event'. Sure enough I checked the local AD on their website today (see attached) and they discounted it $100. Hoping tomorrow I can stop by with the receipt and get $100 back as others have said is possible in the past for price differences within 14 days?

Anyhow, check your local stores after today. This is an amazing value for $700, let alone $600. I like the textured powder coated ones as the soft close drawers are some of the best quality you will find in any of this price range (craftsman, milwaukee, other cheaper husky boxes).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Probably the semi-gloss black version. It's basically the same thing just narrower and the drawers are more abrupt when they close.

These toolboxes are quite good. Much better than Craftsman's cheaper line, but not quite as good as their better line. Would definitely scoop this up if I needed another large toolbox.

As I said above it goes on sale tomorrow (5/18/17) for memorial day, along with other stuff. As usual they just pad the prices prior to sale but this one is the best price break I have seen for a tool chest in awhile. Doesn't hurt that the thing is such an incredible value!

Maybe but the husky boxes are a HD only brand so it leads me to believe it's national. Just wait to check the site tomorrow. The flyer on my box that was taped to it said it was a sales event starting tomorrow and not to put them on the floor until tonight. HD is pretty good about keeping pricing consistent in store/online. Vary rarely will you find a difference and they won't honor it. Check your "local ad" on their website now and you will see the deal just about on the last page. If it's there on your local zip code it surely will be online. Keep in mind there is no free shipping on this one like the milwaukee has, so you will either have to rent a truck and pick it up or if you have one you're set. It's heavy though, ~ 500 pounds overall.

I just hope they give me $100 back. Does anyone have a link to HD's policy on that 14 day price match I've seen mentioned? (Like amazon and a lot of other retailers do?)

I have a hard time shopping at home depot considering they won't match their store price to their own online price, a little ridiculous. Might have to pick one of these up though. Good find OP
