If you were ever into the RTS game Age of Empires II, Galactic Battlegrounds is the same exact engine with a Star Wars coat of paint and Star Wars themed campaigns. Excellent game if you are a fan of both. $1.32 is well worth it.

I'm interested in all of them for the memories and solid gameplay, but I'm reluctant because I've bought numerous old titles on Steam that still won't run on a dedicated gaming desktop. A quick duckduckgo search and it looks like these have those same problems.

I'm going to bite, but I wont be surprised to find I would've been just as well off had I used the $7 to anonymously buy the lunch of the person behind me the next time I visit a drive-thru.

Can you please post when you try? Or pm me. I'd like to know if they work.

Also, let me know next time you head to the drive-thru. 😁

Go to pcgamingwiki.com and look for the title you want to play. They have workarounds to get things working on modern systems for most games and tips on how to get the best experience.

Galactic Battlegrounds, Dark Forces, X-Wing and Tie all worked for me. Good luck.

Did you follow the "and more" link at the bottom? Looks like all the Jedi Knight games are there.

100% agreed. Nothing like having 40 AT-ATs and 40 Jedi Masters go at it!

I bought the tie fighter / x-wing stuff on a deal like this last year. They do work in 10 but need tweaking, google is your friend.

The sad part is.... don't play these games on a big monitor. The graphics might have been pretty sweet in 1993, but they don't hold up at all. I could barely tolerate looking at it. If I get the itch again I'm going to try it on my laptop instead... maybe the 14" screen will fare better, closer to the old CRT VGA monitor I used to use, LOL

edit - if you want semi modern looking Jedi Knight action.... Jedi Academy is the one you want. It was the last one and the graphics aren't too terrible for circa 2002 or whatever. OMG so many LAN parties playing this in multiplayer. It's in between Xbox 1 and 360 level graphics. Pretty sure I was rocking a Geforce 3 or 4 when we were playing that. I don't see it listed separately, it's part of the Jedi Knight bundle. Of course Force Unleashed looks better because it's a modern-ish game (360/ps3 era), but the gameplay is stoopid. And the sequel is worse.
