Sodium is not a big deal if you drink plenty of water and sweat it out thru exercise. You actually need sodium for muscle contraction when you work out.

This product comes up to be 45.23g of protein per dollar if you go with the stated nutrition facts.
This product comes up to be 41.67g of protein per dollar if you go with Labdoor.com research.

The closest comparison I can come up with is:

Myprotein Impact Whey Protein Isolate Flavored which comes in at 58.82g of protein per dollar if you go with the stated nutrition facts.

Myprotein Impact Whey Protein Isolate Flavored which comes in at 60.98g of protein per dollar if you go with Labdoor.com

Isopure seems to always sell at a premium price because they claim their stuff is more "pure" than their competitors which may or may not be true. This brand of isopure also includes a vitamin a mineral brand.

I'm in for one but may decide to cancel as it is almost 50% more expensive than Myprotein.....

Update 5/26/17 - Order canceled. After seeing the FP MyProtein IWP deal at 83.26g of protein per dollar, I can't justify buying this.

Yes, but almost 500mg from a single drink is too much even with a healthy diet. I have 3 shakes a day plus food. That is 1500mg of sodium from that alone.

Equivalently, Myprotein whey isolate has 150mg compared to this 500mg. I'd much rather go with that.

this is accurate, I'm on the myprotein bandwagon and I don't plan on getting off unless some of these bigger companies choose to sell at comparable price

The sodium content would be ideal for someone following a low carb high fat diet. I take in about 5000mg of sodium a day.

All that aside the taste isn't as pleasant as other powders like ON Gold Standard. I've tried banana, chocolate, and vanilla with vanilla being my favorite then chocolate. These have a pretty artificial taste to them.

I see what you did there. Like the word play Smilie

Reps for catching that vs MyProtein.

I got the chocolate when they had a deal, and I agree it was way too salty, if it didn't taste salty I wouldn't have cared too much, but I didn't like it, of course I haven't had the vanilla

To be fair, a 3# tub can't really be compared to an 11# bag just from the bulk savings aspect alone.

I like the taste but I use this in a smoothie so it's blended with fruit, etc.

One thing I noticed about Isopure versus ON and other brands was the fact that I didn't experience any bloating. I'm somewhat lactose intolerant and this protein doesn't give me any digestion issues. It also blends really well if using an actual blender...smooth and creamy texture.
