Applied a 10% off coupon and it worked fine. Getting the $250 coupon so $440 off felt that's a pretty decent deal.

That's a great deal. I bought a Cub a few weeks ago, and it's way backordered. If I didn't get it from a local mom and pop that lent me a mower to make up for the problem, I'd cancel that order and buy off this deal in a heartbeat. The smaller deck doesn't really add much time, and I could pick up a cart and probably 1 other attachment for the same price.

Installed the half-off bagger I bought before mowing today. The instructions for it are terrible. Almost as bad as the delivery experience by Lowe's. My local Lowe's is only getting worse everyday.

It's a nice mower. A bit louder than I expected, get some hearing protection. Once installed the bagger works well, it will fill up quite quickly it picks up so much. Overall this mower works just as the model I purchased back in 2006, but later sold.

At first set the cut depth at 1 1/2, but that is way too low. Nice to finish the yard in much less time than with my little push mower.

I got to Lowes. Frankly, I think it is too big for my yard. The salesman told me I'd better stay with my push mower.

It's almost too big for mine too, but going to use it and trailer to do brush cleaning, mulch hauling and more. The bagger was quite good at picking up grass and leaves. Thinking about building a small shed in the backyard for it and all my yard tools.

An E-Bay search. There are numerous sales. I've used them twice for online purchases with good luck. $2 saved me $189 on this mower.

I was going to sell my old JD LT166 but the belt broke and the mechanic talked me into keeping it. That 2001 Briggs and Stratton Vanguard, 2 cylinder (V twin)16 hp is hard to beat.

The rebate and a coupon makes this a good deal, now I just have to sell my mower.

Can anyone tell me how a John Deere LA105 compares to a new D130? I am seriously debating getting one of these but didn't know if it was worth the expense? Any other tricks to get the price down?

So far I got $1899-$250-10%off.
