New to 3D printing. Please elaborate, why the TD? Is it because of Gearbest being slow in delivery or is it the quality of the printer itself? What is recommended for this size capability.

Thank you

I will guess it's about Gearbest. If things work out, they are great. If not...... They commonly will hit you up for more money after you make the purchase before they will deliver.

As for the printer, it's fine. It's a decent printer and a bargain for the build volume. But do you need such a big printer? Are you going to be printing out helmets?

As for the price, eh... With shipping it's about $440. It's been $360 shipped before.

ghostofposterspast: Thank you for the clarification and the price history.
Other than slow delivery, which I expected, I had no issues with Gearbest on small items before. I will wait till the price drops w/ shipping.

Thank you.

Yep. It feels like a good 50% of Gearbest customers have serious issues. Whether it's being charging and not shipping a product, sending a counterfeit item(I got a bootleg of a cheap smartwatch. who clones cheap smartwatches???) or being shipped a broken item, Gearbest is the best at doing it.
