Note 1: This is a fixed Bonus Rewards offer. Since there is mention of "separate payout" in the terms (see the terms in the online version of the in-store ad), this is not a points offer. The separate payout will be in the form of a separate Rewards Certificate. There will be no notice of the fixed Bonus Rewards amount earned in the Rewards Account until the separate Rewards Certificates are made available. The Rewards Certificates from separate payout offers are generally made available within 5 weeks after the offer ends.

Note 2: Per the terms of the program, Rewards earned -- and hence Rewards payouts -- are reduced by the extent the rewards purchase is paid for with Rewards, coupons or Merchandise Cards.

TERMS: Valid in-store, online, by phone or fax from 5/21/17 – 5/27/17 11:59 PM ET or while supplies last, whichever occurs first. Limit 2 offers per member. This offer cannot be combined with other Bonus Reward offers on the same or similar products and services. Allow up to 5 weeks after the promotion ends for Rewards to become available in your account. These rewards will be issued as a separate reward certificate from your Program reward certificate.

Thanks for the post. No offense but I always wonder why the 100% store reward can make the item free. Say the battery pack costs $13.99, and you get $13.99 store reward. Now you have to use the reward on another stuff, let's say you use it on anther battery pack. So now you get two battery packs with $13.99 total out of pocket, which makes it $6.995 each. So to me the 100% store credit should only count as a 50% sale the best.

I think other stores call this BOGO free. Free item is equal or lesser value.

I read something about it here and a banner when I logged in to my account said something about June or July being the start of the new program. I am sure some one who knows will post it shortly..

The best way to spend store rewards are on clearance or items that are ineligible for earning additional rewards (I don't have an OD account , but that's how I do it at other stores.) If you just buy the exact same item, you are doing it wrong. But you are correct that store rewards should not be listed as 100% equal to cash value.

Some people are not good at beating the system, either. Others, will see a deal like this, realize they don't shop there often but are going to be buying something more expensive from there soon anyways. So they use things like this to basically get a free set of markers, since they were going to spend $50 there anyways. (spend a port of the $50 now, the rest later when buying the $50 item)
