DEWALT DWS779 15 amp 12 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw $379 w/FS @ Home Depot

Deal expired...price now $379.00. Still $20 off, just not $50

DEWALT DWS779 12" Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw doesn't seem to move away from $399 all that often. Amazon currently has it for $399 as of 5/19/17.

Home Depot price of $349 shows in cart. From the reviews I've read, it is the DWS780 without the XPS light, possessing the same motor, fence, blade, stops and capacities as the DWS780 ($599 on Amazon and Home Depot).

I'm shopping for DEWALT miter saws and @ Home Depot I'm seeing $50 off for many models.

Nice find. Looks like it takes the $25 off twice. I am showing the price in the cart as $349.

Seems to be a great price. $300 is a good buy for dual bevel 12". This is sliding so even better - tempted to sell my 1 month old 12" dual bevel and pick up this one...hmmmm.

10" saw is not much smaller to haul around, I got both and difference is minimal. 12" IS a lot heavier, or at least it feels like it.

I thought the same thing. I missed Dewalt 10" silder DW717 Deal a month ago and have been looking for once ever since. Lowes never got them back in stock at the $349 price even though the sale went on for another 3 months. I ended up just stalking craiglist and for a DW717 and a stand for $250. Another difference between the 2 is the blades as 10" blades are cheaper than 12" blades.

Thanks for this post. I'm not buying the 12" in the OP, but I saw your note that they are taking $25 off twice on Dewalts so I checked the DW713 10" miter saw. $25 comes off twice making it $169 plus tax. Best price I've seen in a while.LMAO

does this unit qualify for the free miter saw stand? if so that would make this a really good deal. 😀

I purchased this saw a few months back from HD while Menards had their 11% rebate going on. In addition to this price, I got an 11% rebate back from HD.

I use the saw in my home woodshop and love it. I've always owned Dewalt chop saws and find that they last forever and stay in adjustment. Although I considered a Festool Kapex KS 120, hard to justify the cost when this saw works so well.

Hello, thanks for posting OP! But it shows up as 374. What is the secret to get it down to 349?
