Same thing when I went there. They just didn't update the price on their system yet. The manager told them after they scan it they need to check the price change tab. I saw the lady hitting back on her app (not customer version) and there was a section called price change. When she did it was clearly 44.98
On customer target app if you are in store that brickseek.com says 44.98 it will show 44.98 when you scan the Barcode
Hope that helps

Heck of a deal. I have the model 'up' from these after my infiniums died after about 8 months. The infiniums sounded much better IMO. I've been wearing some form of LG earbuds for the last 4 years or so on a daily basis to block out the sound of embroidery machines while I do graphic design at a custom apparel shop, and these were by far the best model.

Checked the site again, 3 available at my local store, picked up 2 of them!.
They were restocking their headphones section and these were already marked down to $44.98 and hanging on clearance rack.

Thanks OP. Scored one at the Rocklin, CA, Target on Commons Dr.

Coming from an old LG HBS-730 set, this has a better sound stage and clarity but it also has quite a bit less bass than expected (pretty sure my old 730s were boosted). Does an Android equalizer app exist that allows you to have adjustment specific per bluetooth device vs a global setting on the phone?

Also the amazon reviews (over 1000 of em) are very mixed... the negative ones mainly complaining about the fragility of the device (early breakage) and the "dual mics" being crap. They seem sore about the price they paid for such issues. Getting it for 45 bucks vs 125 lowers your expectations / tolerances for performances issues. Smilie

Today, I lucked out and picked up a pair of the LG HBS-920's for $41.96 @ the East Mesa Target. Clearance item, so YMMV.

Would you mind sharing the sku for 920, if you know it?

Tried a couple EQ apps, can't get the bass response I'm looking for, nor can I find an app that is Bluetooth device specific... So these are going back.

Looked up the 920s, it appears they are similarly lacking in bass. http://www.pcmag.com/review/35361...im-hbs-920

listening, now. plenty o' bass. You can boost the bass by twisting the ear bud.

btw, I did read that article and did have some concerns. after listening, no issues.

True, digging the ear bud in deeper does provide more bass but I'm directly comparing it to my old LG HBS-730 set and all things being equal, the bass response is much better on my 730s. In fact, this experience has made me respect my old headset much more. When researching amazon reviews of the 910/920, 770, 760, it's often compared against the 730s as sort of a benchmark which many don't really improve upon. It's made me consider buying a spare since these have long since been discontinued and will likely not be available when these finally die (going on almost 3 years now). I found this listing but I don't know how well refurbished units fair. http://www.ebay.com/itm/302321092873

Also, I really don't like the feeling and pressure of the ear buds twisted in too deep and I never had to dig it in so deep with my old pair (I tried all 3 ear bud sizes as well). I know this is subjective to the individual so if it's good for you, then these 910/920s is a great buy as such a discount. nod Just giving a heads up for the bass heads out there - they might be disappointed. It's too bad... because they really do look sweet on my neck! Frown
