HD tried to screw me out of this rebate a few years ago, and I've been a loyal Lowe's customer ever since. Fortunately, I am very thorough with my rebates and take pictures of everything before sealing the envelopes. They did eventually overturn it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth because they straight up lied about me not qualifying.

TLDR: Take pictures of your forms, receipts, UPCs, etc before mailing them!

Technically a repost but the OP didn't have HD in the title.

So while it is a bit more of a hassle, buying 5 single gallons is cheaper than a single 5 gallon?

Usually the 5-gallon price always comes out cheaper than buying 5 separate 1-gallon.

Rebate should be in the title.

Lowes seems to be doing a similar deal... Does anyone one have any prefferred paint brands at either? Come to think of it WALMART paint prices seem to be the cheapest.. Anyone have any experience with Walmart paint? I have been putting off some remodels for a while.

The form they gave me gives you the option of filIng for the rebates online, which I did. Gives you a tracking number and everything. Similar to online rebates from Staples.
