$199 32GB iPhone 6 for Straight Talk and Total Wireless at Walmart - YMMV

Available in Augusta and Auburn Maine, not sure if it is regional/national so I added YMMV,

On display for Straight talk in store, not for Total Wireless, but salesman said they are for both carriers and the included chip works for both networks. Activated for Total wireless with no issues.

This is a better deal than either carrier shows on their direct order web sites.

I ran out to buy 2 assuming this may have been the unlocked ones some of the stores are sitting on, and supposedly they are not. But I am confused, I entered the IMEI of one of them into Verizon's phone check and it said "congrats that it can be activated on there network". Usually if these phones are restricted it would not say this, correct?

Straight talk can work on all the networks so this model maybe locked to Verizon.
Does a T-Mobile or ATT sim work in it?

Are these free and clear of a contract? Meaning if I pop in my att sim -- am I good to use?

Tried to activate on a post paid sim from Verizon hoping to push it into full unlock, no luck... keeps going back to the activation required page. Appears to be locked out for ST and Total Wireless only, still trying though. I do not currently see a legit unlock service for Straight Talk.

So this is now gone from somewhat good deal to a not really one...?

Interesting, can you confirm that we are talking about the same phone. Straight Talk IPhone 6 32gb with the sim card kit attached to the outside for straight talk or Total wireless model MQ422LL/A
