KMHC319ESS is the lower powered model, but the higher powered KMHP519ESS's price is pretty typical at almost $1k. Note this same model is also marketed under Maytag with a different model number, but the same unit with a different label and lacking the distinctive red handle ends.
I've been price watching this unit since last November when it hit $477, regularly $780 range. This is a great unit with full stainless steel on the inside and bottom in door buttons (a "must have" for my wife). Anyways, this bad boy is a convection oven and microwave oven eliminating the very nice convection oven I have on my counter!
Enough of my rambling. CCC has it the lowest at $560, but it's only third party.
PriceViewer has it at $447 last November. (http://www.priceviewer.com/kitche...33/compare
I got it for $449 by having them price match with Best Buy, because in home depot's system it still shows the $554 price and they apply a coupon to drop it under $500. So I took the appliance quote to customer service showing the $554, showed them my local best buy's stock and they price matched and beat by 10%, dropping it to $449. I then used discount gift cards I had on hand (since I was buying it in-store) which dropped my total out of pocket to under $370 including taxes.
The above is a YMMV and a lot of extra work, but to save another $100+ I felt it worth it and I had the discount cards in hand.
You could also price match with Lowe's who still has it for $700+ and they'll do it for 110%, I had a quote from them, but went with home depot due to the gift cards I had. (Titled Price)
