All,

Just called T-mobile to cancel one line and the rep. told me tomorrow they will start a promo with the 3rd & 4th line free. Maybe someone has more information.

Good luck and happy hunting.

I have a 3rd line free on T-Mobile One from that deal a while back. So they're definitaly willing to give some lines free.

got 4 lines already, one free from past promo... Was thinking about getting an extra one and this would be perfect... the 3rd one free had a restriction that you could not cancel any line in one year.

I hope it's true. I need couple of lines for parents who hardly ever use their cell phone. They are on prepaid right now.

I'm down for cancelling 2 lines and adding 2 more. But in the past they won't let you add if you've cancelled by a particular time...

I guess we'll see

FYI based on what I was told from loyalty dept/retention dept when inquiring about the previous "free 3rd line" promotion. I was told that one of the requirements is buying a sim card from them at $25. Even though I had just missed the promotion, I asked them about the possibility of NOT buying the sim card since I have cheaper avenues of buying them, to which I was told, "no", that I would've had to buy through them at that price.

Might have just been that one rep (aka YMMV), but thought it would be worth giving the heads up.

I wouldn't mind paying $60/month for 4 lines lol. I missed out on $60 for 3 lines last time since I hesitated for a few days.

I don't mind using one of the free lines as my main line so I can get the kickback on the main lines which I mistakenly put as one of the higher usage ones.

Just tell them you already have a SIM and it's a complete waste to have to buy another. Ask them if there's anything they could do, like a credit to your account. Always works for me. But then again, i've been with t-mobile for 15 years... That always helps me.

They might have a port-in or a non T-Mobile number requirement for the free lines.

Is there any way this would be for existing customers to switch over to T-Mobile One?
