EDIT: I originally posted this when I saw it locally for $50, which even at that price is a nice deal.

Some Wal Marts are showing the Brother HLL2305W Wireless Laser Printer on clearance, some for as low as $30.Great printer with good reviews. Check Brickseek for local availability and pricing. Be aware that this model seems to be USB or wireless ONLY, no ethernet port. Still, a great deal at this price.

At that price, it almost becomes worth it even as a disposable laser printer. But these are well worth it beyond the included starter toner. I recently replaced a Brother HL2060N after almost ten years of usage. Well worth it. Only reason it was replaced was that roller was going and it likely needed a new drum soon . I got over 10,000 pages out of it....

Did you find this promo before visiting the store?

How was it indicated/signed?

Walked in looking for clearance August lock, saw clearance aisle up front say extra 50% off lowest marked price (whatever it rings up). Grabbed a bunch of shit from there and then headed to electronics... Asked if extra 50% off was on electronics clearance too. Yep. Bought everything. Missed the damn Ring doorbell ($99), outdoor solar camera ($109?), and stick up camera ($??) tho. Found the lady with the keys, but someone else had already asked for those.

Each store is different tho. Depending on size and popularity of store, Corp gives them a $$$$$ allowance each month towards stuff to clearance out without effecting their numbers. I'm guessing Corp gave them huge $$$$$ for the electronics mod, so that's why everything went half off so fast. They're cleaning out the more expensive brands. Local stores have inventory coming up, so that's why some are just dumping everything.

I wonder if it's better to visit mid-week or closer to the weekend.

There are about 10 Supercenters within 15 mi from me.

Your efforts yielded one big haul worth enough to justify the deadends?

Ehh, I was always after something that they might have, and found some winners alone the way I wasn't interested in, so after resell, hopefully locally on CL and FB, the things I keep will be free or even cheaper.
