24-pc Corelle Livingware Plus Winter Frost White Dinnerware set 26.72 down from 29.97 clearance price
Very YMMV - B+M only - prolly local only - at Walmart only (****this is for Walmart not for Target - SD adds that in, uneditably, probably from the comparison link)
Bought one set at 29.97 at Mountain View, Ca a few weeks ago - they appear to no longer have any.
Bought one at 29.97 in Fremont, CA a week ago, another two on 5/24 still $29.97 on the endcap but rang up at 26.72 (Albrae Street Fremont still has an endcap full as of this writing)
UPC from receipt/box is 007116009890 but couldn't find on brickseek [brickseek.com]
or walmart.com (store locator [walmart.com]
) - sku/UPC seems purged, but if these two stores had them (one still does - as of when this was written) there could a WM or two out there somewhere. (Wouldn't make a trip for but if you're at WM anyway and in the market for can't hurt to check)
reviews here [google.com]
Cheapest current internet price at Amazon [amazon.com]
under a slightly different name (World Kitchen Corelle Serve and Save) for $32.47 shipped.
The reviews link up above has some people saying some broke in shipment (corelle resists breakage but can shatter if hit just right) but the mfg will probably send replacements if through CS or talk with Amazon (fulfilled by Amazon). Better at $26.72 in-store if you can find them, but that's the lowest internet price
The plates and bowls are non-toxic white Corelle glass, no decorations to leach anything into the food.
Though nothing in the packaging, docs or on the product says so, WorldKitchen/Corelle [corelle.com]
swears these and all corelle lids are BPA-free even though this [ca.gov]
Prop 65 page says PC is a recycling code for things that can contain BPA. They also swear that the cups are tested in China and again here in the US to conform to CA prop 65 [ca.gov]
max acceptable lead levels [fda.gov]
(which doesn't mean their isn't any just that it's inside what the gov is good with you ingesting). Still probably better to look for a completely lead-free cup option should that exist, but at least it's in compliance.
Ringing up at $26.72 in-store.
