I've got a U2414 and a U2417. I really like these monitors as they've got a thin bezel. I recommend Smilie

Not a bad deal if 24'' and 1080p is good enough. I can't use anything below 27'' WQHD anymore. It's simply frustrating lol.

Another note: these are too slow for gaming. Very choppy next to 144hz.

What makes this a deal? Looks like your standard, run-of-the-mill 24" 1080p 60 Hz. Not even a single feature makes it stand out, say, high refresh rate or 1440p. Maybe the thin bezels?

It's an ultrasharp.

Yes, good branding, so what? AFAIK sharpness of a screen is related to its resolution/ppi. Nothing outstanding here.

I don't think you know what you are talking about. it's not meant for gamers. It's for productivity. It has a full adjustable stand and 90 degree pivot. I think it has 99% sRGB color too.

I've said this before and pardon my ignorance if I'm wrong but what does that even mean?! I've seen an ultrasharp monitor but not up close so I can't say much and may be wrong but to me it just seems like a buzz word.
At the end of the end of the day this is a 24" with 1080p with 92 ppi.

Color accuracy/production and build design are the biggest pros to Ultrasharps. That said, I did have a 24" S panel and a 24" U panel next to each other for a while, and there was a discernible difference. IMO, the other doorbuster (S panel, S2316H for $130 with $75 GC) is better bang for buck, but this isn't bad if you value the GC.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with a U panel in non-QHD resolutions, and I wouldn't get QHD in anything under 27" either. The 27" QHD U panel is like $500, which is absurd. I have the 34" ultrawide U3415W in UWQHD and it's lovely. Grabbed it from the outlet last year for around $360 (lowest ever).

  1. This is considered a professional monitor not for gaming.
  2. Comes w/ 3 year NEXT DAY replacement warranty.
  3. An exceptional stand that allows for better positioning height and rotating, unlike today's usual cheap tilt stand.
  4. Has 96% sRGB coverage for a photographer and graphic artist.
  5. Has an infinity edge.
  6. USB 3.0 Hub
  7. Hdmi/ MHL / Display port / Mini Display port.

Jealous of your ultrawide. Still looking to get the monitor one day.

Also if anyone is interested I recently bought a 25" 1440p and it's beautiful, it's the ASUS pb258q with 117ppi and 100% sRGB. I was fortunate enough to snag it at $205 on Amazon in like new condition (looks completely brand new), now there's still some for 225. Not trying to threadcrap just letting people know.

For this deal it seems pretty aight, for the looks at least, but still don't know what differentiates this ultrasharp from your other decent monitors from HP, Asus, Acer etc, quality wise except for the sRGB

Thanks for the info. Makes the price a bit more justified. At least the warranty does. Repped

It must have been like two days ago, I had gotten an email and was thinking about replacing the laptop my son destroyed only a couple days after warranty expired. I was pretty pissed. I am now back to my 6+ year old Dell 2320 I bought from scratch and dent.
There's another thread here with 17% off the outlet on XPS/Alienware laptops + 8% rebate site + 5% refer a friend

Here's the thread:

I will never buy one of these Dell "Gift Card" promos, an expiring gift card is the dumbest sh!t I've ever heard.
