Bought this the last time it was on here. It's not for me, i hate it. It takes forever even if i shaved with a blade the day before. I gave it a month (as per the instructions) and the shave never improved. I'm back to shaving with Mach 3's after using an electric razor for the last 5-6yrs.

I had a Philips/Norelco 7310XL but i tossed it in the trash once they changed the replacement blade design. From made in Netherlands to made in China and the number of actual blades reduced to 9 from 15. The brand new (9-blade) replacement blades took 3 times as long to shave with and much less closer than my 1.5yr old (15-blade) ones i replaced.

I even contacted P/N and they confirmed that they changed the "design" of the blades. I've yet to find a suitable replacement. Here's [imgur.com] a picture of my old (left) vs new blades (right).

I apologize for getting off topic. Just thought it may be useful info for anyone else in a similar position.

Only problem with these is that there are never any deals for the replacement blades.

I've received the Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 from Amazon yesterday. It shaves well, but it is very loud. Is it normal with the loud noise or I have a defective one? Those who has this shaver, please let me know if it is quite or loud so I can decide to exchange for another one or just return it.

Thanks
