It's zip code based...that said Cobalt is an inferior purchase when you can have Dewalt for the same price

Tried plugging in some FL zip codes and it took 6 tries to find one with the discount, looks dependant on what store you have selected.

The one I got it to work on was the 33331 ZIp Code W. Davie Lowe's

I did... all 3. Two are $199/ea and the other is $269.

Apparently the price in your area is much higher... in which case I will apologize for the wise-a** remark. Mea culpa.

I only posted this to help others out and this is a GreenWorks rebranded unit but, that being said, does your Dewalt price include a second battery?

Or a 5 year, walk-in/walk-out warranty?

I got the 80v Kobalt trimmer a couple weeks ago. It's awesome, super powerful. Definitely recommend it. Might have to return it and repurchase it just to get the extra battery, but I also have the 80v Kobalt mower which came with two batteries so I'm pretty good on em, really.

BTW if you're looking at getting one of these, I would recommend searching ye ol' eBay for a $50 off $250 coupon (assuming you have some other things to buy).

Bought the trimmer with battery two weeks ago for $85. Was a return in perfect condition and very happy with it. Would like to have a second battery though!
