Thanks OP. missed the mother's day sale. i have the 535s which are amazing. I'm getting these for use as IEMs. I've read many reviews saying the cheaper 215s and 315s are better for IEM because they are brighter and don't have as much bass. also for mmcx connectors you can get a Bluetooth cord. the expensive ones have 8hrs battery, but I have a couple cheap Chinese ones that have a 3 hour charge and a nice sounding Asian woman saying powering on and connecting.

just checked out with free USPS next day shipping for 69.99 out the door.

Thanks OP. In for 2. Great headphones. We use them at our church as IEMs. They're great, especially for the price.

Tempted to get these as gifts for my dad. I never had Shure before, went straight to custom IEM. Those who have it, would you consider it good for classical and pop music?

Love my pair. I can't wear IEMs due to comfort issues (Etymotic ER-4P) and these block out almost as much sound with a much softer feel. Personally I think these are better in the midranges so plenty of response for vocals and strings. For rock and metal it sort of evens out the "scooped" EQ. Nice low frequency response without sounding muddy or boomy.

I bought a pair of these at full price a few months ago for IEMs. They're great! Very comfortable with the foam tips and I think they sound great.

Does looping over the ear bother anyone? I would like to use these at work, but I have to take my buds in and out often at work. My only concern is that these would be a pain in that regard.

I have the 425s for work. It is annoying BUT if you need to concentrate without blasting your music, they're pretty awesome. They are virtually soundproof if the foam tips are placed correctly into your ears and music is playing at a reasonable volume.

Great sound but failure prone cords. Have gone thru many.
