This is a great deal if you don't need a heart rate strap. I already have the scosche armband, so this would be perfect for me. Not sure how the one with the heart rate for $155 was front page but this one hasn't gotten any love yet.

Bought FR230 from Beach Camera via eBay last week. Deal was posted here, same price. Unit works perfectly, ran 9 miles with it today. Arrived quickly.

I just bought this from Jet.com for same price, great deal! However, with Jet you had to pay with debit card and forgo free returns, then add the 15% spring coupon.

This deal was also through Beach Camera on Jet.com

Was a good price while the black was in Stock. If you don't mind the colors... I'd buy the refurb to get black though.

And if you want HR built in and don't need the advance running metrics, then the Vivoactive HR is the way to go.

I am on fence on this. I currently have LG Urbane. Will this have all functionality of a smart watch plus more enhanced activity tracker. Also, how is the screen resolution. I had one delivered today from BuyDig deal and don't know if I should stick to Lg Urbane or open this one

Your current watch is a smartwatch with a few fitness features. This watch is a fitness watch with a few smartwatch features. So it really depends on what you're looking for. Personally I would get his watch because I'm into competitive running. So if you're looking into doing some 5ks, marathons, etc., or to just being competitive with yourself (see how fast you can get, how many miles you can log etc) then I would recommend this. See the full review of the watch here: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2015/...eview.html

That guy does awesome reviews. Keep in mind the 235 has HR monitor built-in while the 230 does not. But, you can get 3rd party optical heart rate monitors if you want vs. a chest strap. One of the best ones is made by Scosche. I have it and like it, although after a year and a half use for some reason it is starting to have problems connecting to the watch.

At $130, this is an amazing deal. The watch has a ton of features for running plus limited smartphone/app capability.

For $149 you can get a refurb 230 and Garmin soft strap HR instead of the crap hard plastic old version. Or you can save more money and get the Adidas strap for less.

Or you can give this one a try that has ant and BT so you can use your phone with it as well.

Guess people were still flocking to the refurbs. And Northwest upped their price too. All this in the past few hours.

or get this http://www.ebay.com/itm/252913572163?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=551928318055&ssPageName=STRK%3... [ebay.com]

gear s3 frontier for $192 with coupon.
Because you're extremely limited on fitness apps. Even Nike has screwed the pooch last I checked making you jump through a bunch of hoops to do share your data. Not to mention that is pretty much the only fitness app available on the whole platform.

Even androidwear is better with more options.

So it comes back to the question of, dontou want a smartwatch that does occasional fitness based stuff. Or do you want a fitness watch that has some base smartwatch functionality.

And I'd get an Urbane 2 for even less money if I was going the smartwatch route.
