This is a Server computer and won't come with cheap Windows 10 license. They normally use Server OS like UNIX or Linux or Windows Server Edition and they are very costly...won't cut at $349 price tag. If you want to use standard OS, just spend $15 bucks to get a Windows 10 Pro license from sCDkeys. The deal has been posted here as well.

Asking for accurate description of the item is insulting it?
You are a douchebag, that's an insult.

Thank you, for some reason the link field in the thread creator NEVER works for me.

Anything can be made into anything. I would not look at this to be a great gaming rig, but more of a production software, nas, vm box. Motherboard and boot times will be very different if you're used to gaming rigs.

I would choose one of their clearance PC's that currently went live today (20% off with CC): http://outlet.us.dell.com/ArbOnlineSales/Online/InventorySearch.aspx?c=us&cs=22&l=en&s=dfh&brandid=2... [dell.com]

it can, but this is not where this box will shine. as mentioned above, itll be better utilized for server functions, or as a plex box. things to keep in mind: no hyperthreading, and be aware of the psu, as itll be underpowered unless you get a super powerefficient gpu

For more basic games it will be fine. In fact, I'll be using one of these as a Minecraft Education server. But as others have mentioned there are better choices for a real gaming computer. The Xeon processor in this system benchmarks close to an i5-7500. The PSU is only 290W, and even a GTX 1050 would be pushing the limit on power, although it can be swapped for a better PSU (I verified that it matches standard ATX screw mounts.

Also, the memory that this comes with is ECC RAM (at least for the two that I received), which has slower timings than your typical DDR4 RAM. Again, these servers are intended for all day stability, not performance.

Yup. Too many equate standard tasking OS's with networking, when they should educate themselves first.
