good luck to anyone finding this. it beats the lowest deal of $50 from bestbuy but it's a bit dated now. the good news is it gets the Android 7 upgrade. battery life is good due to quad core and 720p display. battery is removable. stylus is nice if you like using one.

the LG Stylo 3 is out with main differences being a 8 core processor, finger print read, and android 7 out the box

no it will not. you would need to get it unlocked for any CDMA based provider and that can only be done by boost mobile after it passes fed check. fed check takes 1 year on their service before it will pass.

if just using gsm you can get it unlocked by a third party or doing it yourself so a third party sim will work. I don't know much about this but in other threads it's discussed I believe.

this thread I believe

Awesome.. just started updating my MetroPCS Stylo 2 Plus to 7.0 Nougat. Finally. Nougat wasn't there yesterday for MetroPCS version.

I use my MetroPCS LG Stylo 2 Plus as a media player device. Battery lasts pretty long too.
It has NFC (for Android Pay), Wifi AC (the Stylo 3 doesn't have this), and came with a free LG case promotion.

The screen is a bit wobbly (cheap quality) if you look carefully on the edges so the tempered glass won't work properly causing some lifting on the upper and lower areas. The actual screen area is fine though.

Oh, and I got mine for free after porting in to MetroPCS 2-3 months ago. Paying $30 a month for 2 GB data.

I have had the phone (on Boost) for 4 months. It upgraded to 7 the week after I got it. I wish it was available with more than 16gb since I haven't been able to figure out how to move apps to SD card (I think it may not be possible). I have also found the GPS weak and constantly searching. I have seen the GPS issue mentioned by others but haven't sern any possible fixes mentioned. Other than those issues I am very happy with the phone. I got it from BestBuy when it was $50 so for the price it is a great deal. I just bought the Stylo 3 on Ebay for $120 and will probaly switch if I can confirm that it will resolve my SD card and GPS issues with the Stylo 2.

click settings (pull down from the top twice and then the top right gear icon). go to apps and than find a app you downloaded and installed. click it and in this screen there should be a move to SD card button. not every app allows this but most should. you should see the move to SD greyed out if not allowed or it will say move to internal if it's on the SD already.
