Each switch will need a minimum of 20-Watts on load and neutral wire required. Be sure to check device compatibility on the product page to see if these will work w/ your other smart devices (works w/ SmartThings Hub & Wink among others). -johnny_miller

if you tap and hold the dimmer, does anyone know if you can dim at the switch or ONLY via zwave?

These are freakingly close to the GE ones. If I were a betting man I would say they are by the same manufacturer. I have read in some blocgs that for 2-way you can use the GE addon switch which strengthens my view that it's the same manufacturer.

If anyone has this and a wink hub could they try add device as a GE oen instead of generic zwave device and see if it works?

that would be a real POS if it didnt let you dim at the switch...

i think i bought this last year for the z-wave plus benefit in hopes of my pool light being able to connect to the network. it sits in a metal housing and is 3rd on the daisy chain from a shed light. present zwave switch is barely strong enuf to sometimes be seen, but not strong enough to be acted upon... hoping the zwave plus will just give me enuf to be consistently on the network

These come with a screwless faceplate whereas the GE does not come with a faceplate at all.

Very interesting... I've been waiting to finish my house when the GE ones would go back on sale at Lowes. These come in at a little bit cheaper. They do look almost exactly like the GE versions just without the 3-way traveler option.

Anyone know if they support double tap features like the new GE zwave plus ones are supposed to have?

"minimum 20 Watts on load required"

So if I only had 1-2 LED bulbs I needed powered this wouldn't be able to handle that?
