Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share. These are the same cameras that were a +86 FP Deal individually earlier this month at $30 each. The 4-Pack works out to be slightly cheaper ($28.75 each), so hopefully it will help those who need a few!
This item is also eligible for Free 2-Day Shipping with Amazon Prime.

  • 111° Wide-Angle Lens, 940nm infrared non-invasive sensor, 4x digital zoom. Capture the scene in clarity with the wide-angle lens and zoom capabilities. The non-invasive sensor will not disturb your sleeping children.

We've bought in total 3 of these when they've been on sale. For the value, they're really not too shabby. Video quality of 720p is questionable, and the audio quality, while it works, is not great. It works as a live feed through the app and you can set up movement zones to get alerts if it detects movement, and it records a 6 second clip you can access immediately. Can record to SDHC as well. We do not pay for the subscription service; what it comes with has been enough for us.

I don't have any experience with Arlo or Nest, but the value of these cameras is pretty great considering the functionality.

The 720p video quality from these is the best I've seen from all the IP cameras I've tried anywhere close to this price range.

How do these cams compare against the zmodo's? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MD27X1F?tag=slickdeals&ascsubtag=db630632428011e78138c2dba11b680d0INT&smid=A1DASFX6KKHYZ9

I have the zmodo's and think they are good for the price. Bought 3 for $64 via slickdeals.

FYI, these cameras cost ~$20 each in China at normal retail price, but then the CHN versions' firmware is locked to China (it was believed that it detects it by IP).
If you want to save more, then do research about hacks to overcome this. (like firmware hack, firewalls in router, even ip spoofing and so on)

I like them but as a heads up these were $30 each a couple weeks ago, unless you need 4 you might want to wait for them to go back on sale. YMMV

But we are not in China, so they have to be shipped and then you have to find a firmware hack, or trick your firewall for IP spoofing and all this will save $8 a camera? Am I missing something?

Would like to know if anyone is using these with Blue Iris? I checked the compatibility list and they are not listed, but as all Blue Iris users know that is only the tested list, many more work fine. Anyone try these on Blue Iris?

Do we have to call China and speak Chinese for support? I was working in manufacturing in ASIA for a long time and product shipped to US are produced in separate production line with special quality control, even parts used are different
