For the people that have won, did it say that you have to mail the code from the bag to win the Nintendo?

There is no need to send the code

I'm not directing this at you, but regarding this point, I'd advise people against stealing codes off of bags. Not only is it wrong, but it's a great way to get blacklisted after someone buys a bag with a bum code and contacts Frito-Lay.

I totally Agree. I bought one and realized that the code is on the outside of the bag. And I thought people would do something like that. It made me think why Frito-Lay would do something like that. I mean it would increase sales if the number was in the inside of the bag.

I bought a pack and the code was invalid. I went back to the store and tried the codes on the two other packs they had on the shelf. They were both invalid. Ridiculous. I returned the pack I bought and mailed in for some codes. It's dumb to put them on the outside of the bag.

You should notify frito lay or whoever is running the sweeps of the invalid codes. Hopefully they can track who used them and blacklist them.

In regards to "blacklisting" people.... It is Frito Lays fault for making the dumb decision to place needed codes on the OUTSIDE of the packaging for everyone to see.... They could have just as easily printed the codes on the inside of the bags if their intent was to entice more people to buy that specific product. They HAVE to know codes can be taken by ANYBODY by advertising them on the outside packaging so I believe their intent with this promo (& just like other Frito Lay promos) was attracting attention to the multipacks and advertising them; knowing full well people are going to be seeking this specific product out during this promotion. Because of their decision to print the codes in a place for all to see, I don't see how calling Frito Lay to report that the code on a pack has already been used is going to blacklist anyone. If they wanted to ensure a purchase in order to obtain the code then they would've printed the code somewhere on the inside of the packaging where the general public can't see/get to. Also, obtaining a code is only PART of the chance to win. You still have to be lucky enough to play the game at precisely the exact right (winning) time in order to win. All the free/stolen codes in the world are useless if you enter at all the wrong times. There would be more of an argument to blacklist someone who used a winning code -without purchasing the product- if instant wins were based on specific predetermined winning codes (& not time based like this contest is) but the purchaser would never know if the used code on their package was a winner since the code was already used/redeemed; so I don't see how that would work either.
Also, because the codes are printed on the outside I find it dumb to NOT try & enter the code onto the site BEFORE you buy the product to make sure that the code hasn't already been used. If you are going out purchasing one of these multipacks just to obtain the code to play the game then you had better be sure that you are purchasing a pack that contains an unused code. The only way to know that is to enter the code BEFORE you buy that pack.

If you buy a product and someone has stolen the code and used it, call Frito/Lays at the number listed on the contact page. Have the packaging ready because they ask for the other manufacturing codes on the packaging as well as the contest code. They will also ask when and where the product was purchased. Within a couple days they will email you a new code for contest entry. If they ask you to send them the packaging and proof of purchase, go ahead and do it. I did a few years ago and a couple of weeks later, I got some free product coupons in the mail. I never got a winning screen or email, but I ended up receiving an Xbox 360 from the contest.
