Walther has a $100 rebate starting tomorrow on the PPQ & PPS [waltherarms.com]. So, if you've been eyeballing a PPQ or PPS for a while, but were on the fence it might be a good time to buy. nod

"Offer limited to Walther PPQ M1, PPQ M2, PPQ Navy, PPQ 45, PPS M2, PPS M2 LE, PPS M2 Laser Set, or Color variations. PROMOTION EXCLUDES Q5 MATCH & .22 RIMFIRES, as well as any other model not listed above."

Eligible Product List [waltherarms.com]. & Rebate Form [waltherarms.com].

Seeing how little interest has been generated, I guess the Walther PPQ and PPS aren't nearly as popular as the S&W Shield. laugh out loud

FWIW, GunBuyer.com seems to have some of the best pre-rebate shipped prices for the various Walther PP_ handguns with the $100 rebate.

Thanks OP.

Black PPS M2 for $257 after rebate (GunBuyer has never charged me shipping or tax for a firearm) + the FFL fees that you'll need to pay to ship over the firearm.

EDIT: Would buy this if I didn't already own the PPS. It's been a fantastic, sweet shooting sub-compact for the first couple thousand rounds.

This morning I bought a big brother for the Walther I already have. Now it won't be lonely in the cabinet. laugh out loud It has been on my want list for a while. The $100 rebate pushed me over the edge. It wasn't nearly as cheap as the PPS M2 for $257 A/R though.

Any opinions on the PPQ M2 vs the PPQ M2 navy? Primary use will be range, secondary will be self defense, probably not concealed carry though. I live by water, but don't expect to be taking it out on the boat.

I'm assuming you're talking 9mm... If you want to add a silencer in the future I'd go Navy as it has a threaded barrel. Otherwise probably not. Are you looking at the 4" or 5" PPQ M2 9mm?

I'm looking at the 4"most likely. Maybe going with the navy and getting a non threaded barrel on the side to reduce the size if that is a thing.

For mainly range shooting I'd get the 5" PPQ M2 myself. Longer sight radius. heart

That's a good point, but I also wanted to be able to concealed carry it if necessary. Would the longer barrel get in the way?

I don't think you'd want to concealed carry any of the PPQ's. They're full size pistols. Is it possible? Yes, but it's not practical. The PPS is intended for concealed carry.

My Walther rebate came sometime between 7-15 and 8-12 when I had my mail on hold. Unfortunately, it's prepaid VISA card instead of a check. Frown
