This is $9 more than the i7/16GB SP4 posted in this popular deal but, at least in my mind, a much more reputable seller.

Personally I don't pay tax on newegg purchases so I wouldn't bother.

Seller is the same: always.deals.

Same crap, different package.

Just Newegg continuing their deceptive descriptions. That's how I fell into this trap last year. Fool me twice...

For half the much money the laptop I bought's 5 years ago has a CPU better than this one:

WHY SO CHEAP WITH YOU CPU'S NOW LENOVO?! shake head

I've been waiting so long for something like this with quad core. Anybody know something?

They will but make sure to ask for a manager. Some associates will say its too steep to PM, but asking for a manager should solve it. I've always had a problem PM at Bestbuy even when it was only a $50 difference. I normally go to fry's.

Actually the same seller. Maybe eBay is better because of the better customer cover.

The i7-3632QM is a 35W quad core processor meant for desktops and desktop replacements. The Core i7-6650U is a 15W dual core processor intended for lightweight laptops and ultrabooks. You're comparing apples to oranges. The i7-3632QM in a Surface product would probably last a couple of hours per charge at most, and probably wouldn't even run for that long due to the heat output.

I use to have a surface pro at work and loved it. But cant justify paying this price for a higher end tablet with full windows. If the top end models were in the $900-$1000 price range with the lower end closer to $550-$600 they would crush the competition.
