How do you post a deal if you can't find the option for your "Brand" or "Stores" it's available at?

I was trying to post my first deal and it appears it can't find the "Brands" and "Stores" I try to lookup when filling out those fields. I have two questions...

1) Is it required that you fill out those fields before publishing the deal?

2) If you can publish the deal without it, is there any downside?

The "brand" or "store" is for a deal on Uber, which I was surprised they didn't have it already in the system.

Thanks in advance everyone!

It's not required.
There's no downside.
With that being said, I would read the rules before posting as they don't allow referrals or self-promotion here. And most Uber codes/deals are referrals.

I have the same question. I posted a deal but did not have a brand. It was a Pier1 item and Pier1 is not listed as a brand, so NoGo.

The answer is the same - brands are not required, they are optional Smilie
