Came across a slick deal on the newest Dewalt 20v reciprocating saw.

FIRST - Click this link to their homepage. http://www.toolnut.com/. When you first land on their you will have a dialog box pop up prompting you to enter your email for a $10 of $100 coupon code. Enter your email. I received my code in about 2 minutes. If you have already been to the site you may not get the popup, so just open a private/incognito window, paste the address there, and you should get the popup.

The saw price with a free 5ah battery is $139 - $10 code for $129, free shipping over $100.

Seems like a very slick deal, as the cheapest anybody is selling the bare tool for is $149-$159, so this is $20 less than that, with an added 5ah battery. The kit with charger, bag and 5ah battery sells for $279.

Take it easy on me, this is my first deal posted here, but it should be a good one.

You're welcome. Report all you want. I've said nothing of a new account, which I find particularly fitting as I've had an account here for over 2 years.

I don't find it odd. Plenty of folks like you get your rocks off attempting to put others down. It's not how I care to spend my time, (hence my willingness to pass on a great deal here) but to each his own.

Edit to add for anyone on the fence - this seller has 4.8 star rating from google customer reviews with over 900 reviews https://www.google.com/shopping/c...oolnut.com. Don't let the above guy mislead you into thinking this is an "unknown seller"

yeah, I'm sure somebody made the toolnut website a long time ago just so they could scam people on SD out of $130 today... people don't go to that effort to scam people out of small ~$100 sales when they could easily just make a Amazon/eBay account and do it that way.

also, if they wanted to scam people, they would have made the price more appeal. this is a warm deal at best. they probably also would have done it with a more expensive item.

hmm , last time I reported a post, it was for a DeWalt tool as well, from an unknown seller (I think it was the same site), and also included the "new account, take it easy on me" statement.

Odd.

Just that it's in stock again, previously the free 5ah battery went out of stock. Also the $10 coupon only for new users. If you want to reuse the coupon, checkout with PayPal.

I want one, but I don't need one. I still have a plug in sawzall. My wife would probably say no after my latest tool splurge with all the dewalt deals as of late anyway.

Tool buying is like a whiteprint or never ending jigsaw puzzle. You're just being the Michelangelo for dewalt!

Snagged one.

Just bought one without the extra battery for the same tool off Amazon to replace a stolen one. This is an even better deal for California buyers, free shipping and NO TAX! Plus additional $10 off and a free battery.

This is a better deal than my original tool for $99 non XR with a case and small battery. (I have an extra case insert, and chargers from other sets, so those don't make a difference for me.)

It's really the tool itself that matters the most... and how you use it of course!

Are you saying size is not important?

Dewalt no longer uses metal parts they now have many plastic moving mechanic parts inside. This is since just 2016 or 2017

I have always wanted a cordless reciprocating saw. I love this tool. It has plenty of power. I especially like how the sawblade attaches.
