This is $130 on Amazon so you're paying an extra $20 upfront in hopes of saving $45 at some point in the distant future IF your rebate even comes. Rebates are so shady, pass...

Nah i'll just complain that it's not pure sine wave so it won't work well with modern computer power supplies.

Seems like a great deal for a larger capacity UPS, some will complain that its not a PFC model, but that usually doesn't make a difference in real world use.

"Prepaid Visa Cards expire after 4 months" what a sham imo.. it takes them 2-3 months to "process" your rebate then they are in such a hurry to take the money back.... pass...

Rebates are like playing Russian Roulette. A few will succeed, while they depend on others failing. The whole process of filling out a form and then mailing it even though the internet exists is to dissuade and present possible excuses to deny ppl. Can you tell I hate rebates? lol, pass...

I agree that is a pain. I usually just use the prepaid cards to buy Amazon print-at-home gift cards (online) then not worry about it. Just buy the Amazon GC for $1 less than the total value of the prepaid card since Amazon will temporarily hold $1 to verify the address on the card. Then a week or so later when the $1 authorization has fallen off, purchase another Amazon GC for $1. (There may be a "slick"-er way to do this with the "Reload Your Balance" option, but you get the idea)

I've only done a SD rebate once before, other than the normal MIR "hoops" to jump through, it was a fairly painless experience. I would trust them again. I do have a list of specific manufacturers/vendors that I will not roll the dice on, however, having been burned in the past, unless the deal is slick even without the rebate.

4 month after date of issuance. usually, that's about 1-2 weeks before you get your rebate, so you should always have at least 3month or more to spend... not 1 month.

i just use mine in grocery store... buy some steak and done

If this was $85 with no stupid rebate I'd be in for 2, but too many stories about sketch SD rebates, pass.
